Isn't it amazing (and a little scary) what neighbouring plotholders keep in their sheds? Next time you're down your plot, you'll be staring and wondering now :D
My name's Paul, I'm 32 and run my own landscaping business in South Birmingham. My Father's name is Jack, who's 70, retired and full of enthusiasm. We took on our allotment in January 2006 with the view to growing a selection of veg for our own satisfaction and a large range of herbs and plants to be used in my business.
When I was a child, my dad had an allotment for a number of years and I would spend alot of time there with him. I think the more you grow up, the more you inevitably grow apart from your parents, so sharing an allotment now will give us the opportunity to do something together and get to know each other very well, as I think few fathers and sons of our ages really do.
Or, it could all end in tears. Hehe.
